Montgomery Complex Windsor Locks- Question about Haz Mat Report! Would you live there??

Let me state Upfront. I am absolutely in favor of the Environmental Remediation of the Montgomery Complex and returning it to our Tax Rolls and its Revitalization !! However, I have expressed my concerns about the Chemical Substances reside in the soil and the Main Building which is scheduled for Remediation for Human Occupancy!

I reviewed the Phase III Environmental Report and have some concerns about the Completeness and Reliability of the Report and whether the property can be Remediated for For Human Occupancy???Its possible that someone you know or even perhaps your grandchildren could reside there.

I expressed my concerns to our Board of Selectmen and our PZC. The BOS did not respond and the PZC Granted Permit Applications to move forward with the Remediation Plans and appeared to be uninterested in my concerns for the Safety of our Emergency Response Personnel and future occupants of the Building!!??Why? Because it didn't fit the Plans for Revitalizing Main St.
