Montgomery Mills Project Making Progress

The 160-unit apartment complex will begin accepting applications from prospective tenants.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - The new Montgomery Mill Apartments will begin accepting applications from prospective renters in the next few weeks, according to the Journal-Inquirer. The 160-unit building is a renovation of the J.R. Montgomery Co. factory and will retain much of the original design.

The project's developer, Boston-based Beacon Communities LLC, has received tax breaks from both the town and state. Town officials consider the project critical to the revitalization of Main Street.
