WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — College students from Windsor Locks and East Windsor recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• A pair of Windsor Locks residents made the Dean's List for the 2017 spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology: Hamza Masood, who is studying electrical engineering, and Radha Mendapra, who is studying information technology. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• The 46th Commencement of Tunxis Community College was held on May 25 in the College’s courtyard.A total of 307 graduates were conferred associate degrees and certificates. Those who were conferred degrees in December 2016 were also recognized at the ceremony. A graduate from Windsor Locks was Jessica Veloso, A.S. Dental Hygiene.
