Assumption University, Worcester MA

• Assumption University has announced that Catherine Hurlburt, of East Windsor, Class of 2024, has been named to the university's Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Two students from Windsor Locks were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester at Clarkson University: Ryan Thomas Barthel, a freshman majoring in chemical engineering, and Sean Michael Donahue, a junior majoring in global supply chain management. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

DePauw University, Greencastle IN

• Robin Bista of Windsor Locks has been named to DePauw University's spring 2022 Dean's List. The Dean's List recognizes students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• More than 300 Eastern Connecticut State University students were recognized for scholarly excellence at the conclusion of the spring 2022 semester. Given by academic departments across the university, the recognitions included induction into 15 academic honor societies, scholarship awards and departmental distinctions. Among those honored was Nicole Walker of Windsor Locks, a senior who majors in social work. Walker was inducted into the Phi Alpha national honor society at the Social Work Program's annual induction on May 11 in the Shafer Hall Auditorium.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Alexys Suojanen of Windsor Locks was named to the Lasell University Dean's List for their academic performance in the spring 2022 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• Shannon Dube of East Windsor graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire over the weekend of May 20-22. Dube earned a BS degree in nursing. Students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• On April 28, the University of Saint Joseph community gathered to celebrate the many students honored in the annual Undergraduate Awards Ceremony. USJ President Rhona Free was joined by students, their families, faculty, and staff to commemorate student achievements in areas including academics, leadership, service, scholarship, and scholar-athletes. Jacob Wyse of Broad Brook earned the Honors Award.
