More Great Feats By Windsor Locks, East Windsor College Students

WINDSOR LOCKS/EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College recognizes five students from East Windsor and three from Windsor Locks who earned Dean's List honors for the 2021 spring semester. Those students and their primary majors are: From East Windsor: Alyssa Garner, Criminal Justice; Gabrielle LeBeau, Health Science/Pre-physician Assistant; Hayley Mansfield, Health Science; Jillian Michaud, Health Science; and Cole Crynock, Sport Management. From Windsor Locks: Alexis Long, Health Science/Pre-physician Assistant; Megan Hacia, Health Science and Pre-Physical Therapy; and William Evans, Sport Management. The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Madison Didomenico and Lilyanna Lingua-Cutler, both of Windsor Locks, made the spring 2021 Dean's List. They were awarded this academic achievement for having earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B."

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Bernadette L. Nadeau of Windsor Locks graduated from Western New England University with an MBA in General Business on Sunday, May 16. The University conferred degrees to over 160 graduates receiving masters, law, and doctorate degrees from its Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, and School of Law.
• Joshua M. Swider of Windsor Locks graduated from Western New England University with a BS in Pharmacy Studies. The undergraduate ceremony was held on Saturday, May 15. More than 480 students received degrees.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Noah Willey and Nicholas Willey of East Windsor were named to the WPI Dean's List for the spring 2021 semester. Noah is majoring in Management Engineering, while Nicholas is majoring in Civil Engineering. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
