Motorcycle Crash Ties Up Traffic On Route 5 In East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR, CT — A crash on Route 5 involving a motorcycle and another vehicle resulted in injuries to at least one person, with the LifeStar medical helicopter being requested, according to a state police dispatch report.

The crash took place just before 12:30 p.m. in front of Toro Auto at 52 South Main Street. Warehouse Point Fire Chief James Barton said the person "was conscious and alert" when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

Northbound traffic on Route 5 was diverted down Tromley Road as police and firefighters worked at the scene.
