New Stickers On East Windsor Ambulances Aim To Connect People In Crisis With Help

The ambulance service is urging departments across Connecticut to add the same life-saving resource to their vehicles.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — East Windsor Ambulance Association says it has become the first ambulance service in Connecticut to place crisis contact information on its vehicles, part of a new partnership with Amplify Inc. aimed at making help more visible to people in need.

The new stickers display critical contact information for victims and individuals in crisis, according to the ambulance association, which is now challenging other ambulance services across the state to do the same.

Officials said the idea is straightforward: put life-saving numbers where people can see them, whether they need immediate help during an emergency or support later.

“If your service wants these stickers for your ambulances, contact Caitlin Geaghan at cgeaghan@amplify.org,” the organization said in announcing the campaign.

Amplify describes its mission as strengthening the region’s ability to assess needs, develop plans and advocate for strategies and resources that advance healthy communities. The organization says its work is focused on 37 towns in North Central Connecticut, while also supporting awareness of substance misuse prevention and early intervention services on a broader scale.

East Windsor Ambulance said it hopes the campaign will expand well beyond town lines.

“The more lives we can assist, the stronger and safer Connecticut becomes,” the association said.
