One Dead, One Injured In East Windsor Rollover Accident
One person was killed and another injured in a Sunday wreck on I-91.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — One person was killed and another injured in a wreck on I-91 northbound in East Windsor Sunday. Emergency crews were called to the scene near exit 45 at 8:28 p.m., according to a state police report.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck was traveling north prior to Exit 45 when the operator lost control. The truck veered into the right shoulder, colliding into the metal beam guardrail, before rolling over in the right shoulder, police said.
The driver, Russell Jacobs, 44, of Springfield, Mass., was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, Athena Hunter, 37, of Waltham, Mass., was transported to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.

Police are still investigating the crash, and anyone with information is asked to call Connecticut State Police Troop C at 860-534-1000.
