Resident Suffers Serious Burns In East Windsor Fire
Emergency crews responded to the call Friday night.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — One person suffered serious burns in a fire at 59 Mill Pond Road Friday night, NBC CT reported. Fire officials said the call came in at 11:30 for a fire at Mill Pond Apartments.
The fire was extinguished in ten minutes and crews opened up the search for fire extension. The building was evacuated and ventilation was started as all three floors were affected by smoke.
One resident was transported to Hartford Hospital with burns by East Windsor Ambulance.

While crews were picking up, a resident had backed into the first due apparatus narrowly missing firefighters. Police apprehended the driver who was taken into custody for unknown reasons.
