Picture East Windsor - Then And Now
An old photograph and brief story from East Windsor's past, and how that site appears today.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — For the latest offering in this periodic informal history series, highlighting businesses from East Windsor's past and what those locations look like today, we go back three decades to the 1991 edition of the East Windsor High School yearbook, The Archive. Here we find one of the longest-tenured businesses ever in town: Hall & Muska.
Founded in 1938 on Main Street in Broad Brook by James Leroy Hall and Anthony J. Muska, the oil business moved to its location at 152 Broad Brook Road in the 1960s. The two partners operated the business for more than 40 years before retiring, with successors maintaining the name for a number of years.
George T. Taylor & Son Inc. bought the business in Oct. 1998. It is currently known as Taylor Energy.
