Picture East Windsor - Then And Now
An old photograph and brief story from East Windsor's past, and how that site appears today.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — The latest installment of this periodic informal series, highlighting businesses from East Windsor's past and what those locations look like today, brings us into the 1980 edition of the East Windsor High School yearbook, The Archive. Here we find a restaurant which operated for several years in the 1980s in the then-new East Windsor Industrial Park, which had been built in 1979.
Pasquale's Restaurant and Lounge at 17 Thompson Road was owned and operated by Pasquale "Patsy" Arace. He was a World War II Navy veteran who lived in the Broad Brook section of town for more than 25 years.
Town land records indicate the business must have closed by 1988, as he signed a lease agreement for another party to rent the facility during that year. In 1991, the property was sold to Sam Karagiannis, who opened La Notte Restaurant and Banquet Facility.

Arace passed away in Dec. 1991 at age 65.
Karagiannis recently opened La Notte Waterside Grille in Windsor, as the East Windsor location is strictly used for weddings and banquets today.
