Police Identify Gunshot Victim Found In Vehicle In Windsor Locks

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A body found with gunshot wounds in a vehicle on the Interstate 91 Exit 42 off-ramp Sunday evening has been identified by state police as Dominique Kendrick Miller, who would have turned 23 Tuesday.

Around 7:35 p.m., Troop H in Hartford received a report of an unresponsive man on the off-ramp, just south of the Dexter Coffin Bridge in Windsor Locks. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Central District Major Crime Unit was requested, state police said.

State police detectives continue to seek the help of any witnesses to the incident. Witnesses are asked to contact Troop H at 860-534-1040. All calls will remain confidential.
