Police Investigating Abuse Complaints at Windsor Locks Daycare Center
A police captain said he believes the individual accused of abusing children is no longer employed at the center.
WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - Police are investigating allegations of abuse complaints by an apparent former employee of a Windsor Locks daycare center.
Capt. Chet Degray said between Monday and Tuesday, three parents of children at the New England Preschool Academy at 1 Foxwood Lane filed complaints about physical abuse toward their children.
Each child is approximately 2 years old, Degray said.
The Department of Children and Families was notified and are participating in the active investigation, Degray said.
"It is my understanding the employee involved no longer works there," Degray said.
