Police Release Names of Arrestees in East Windsor Cockfighting Raid

State Police have released the names of 45 people were charged with animal cruelty and gambling after police busted an alleged cockfighting and gambling ring in East Windsor.

Police searched 248 South Main St. in East Windsor on Feb. 21 and found 108 people at the cockfighting site along with 54 fighting birds. Most of the birds were alive and a handful were deceased.

Police also confiscated more than $100,000 in cash, a firearm. records and other implements of cockfighting, according to police.

More arrests are expected.
