Power Issues Delay More Than 20 Flights Out Of Bradley: Update
Crews are investigating the electrical problems Monday morning.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - Electrical issues were causing problems at Bradley International Airport, delaying at least 20 flights and closing an airport roadway. The power was fully restored around 8 a.m.

Airport officials recommend travelers contact their airlines if they're scheduled to fly today. The airport was working with the Travel Safety Administration and airlines to accommodate passengers affected by the outage.

The terminal was operating on backup power during the outage, according to WFSB.
The power outage also affected arrivals, and an inbound airport runway remained closed.

The power has been fully restored and we're working with our airline and TSA partners to process passengers as quickly as possible. The inbound roadway access to the airport remains temporarily closed. We will share another update regarding the roadway by 9 AM.
