Rapper Arrested at Bradley International Airport
She was arrested after refusing directions from TSA personnel and directing a vulgar tirade at state police.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Rap artist Kamaiyah was arrested Friday morning at Bradley International Airport after refusing to remove her head cover upon direction from TSA employees, then launching into an expletive-laden tirade at TSA officials and state police.
The California-based rapper, whose real name is Kamaiyah Johnson, was charged with interfering with an offider and second-degree breach of peace. She was released after posting $5,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear June 6 in Enfield Superior Court.
A state police report says TSA personnel called police after Johnson's head cover triggered an alarm. She "steadfastly refused to remove her head gear to be inspected," and was advised she would not be allowed by go through security and board a plane.

Johnson began to use vulgar language toward the official and state trooper, then continued her tirade until she was placed under arrest, according to the report.
Kamaiyah, 26, has recorded with artists such as Drake and YG, and appeared in a Sprite commercial alongside basketball superstar LeBron James in early 2018.
