On Friday, August 9th, State Representative Christopher Davis paid a visit to the Broad Brook Senior Center to host an open discussion on the 2013 Legislative Session with local seniors from East Windsor.
State Rep. Davis provided the seniors with informational handouts describing the bills and various topics discussed during the 2013 Legislation Session. The pamphlets also shed a light on Connecticut’s overwhelming financial debt and economic stagnation compared to other surrounding state’s in the nation.
Throughout the meeting, seniors in attendance posed questions to their State Representative about the heavy tax burden and high cost of living in Connecticut.
