East Windsor Police are investigating after a resident received about $6,000 worth of marijuana in the mail from an unknown sender.Police received a call from a concerned citizen pertaining to a package they received in the mail on Thursday.<ul><li><a href="https://patch.com/connecticut/windsorlocks/subscribe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">To sign up for breaking news alerts and more, click here.</a></li></ul>Police said the package originated out of Florida from an unknown sender. Officers subsequently determined the package contained approximately 6 pounds of marijuana which represents approximately $6,000 in street value, according to police.Police are asking the public to report any strange occurrences they observe to the police.
