The 5/28/13 Budget Referendum was defeated by a vote of No-729 to Yes-441. A budget referendum will be held on June 11, 2013 between the hours of 6:00AM and 8:00PM. Copies of the FY 2013-2014 proposed budget will be available in the Town Clerk’s Office and on the Town of East Windsor website by Friday, May 31, 2013. On the left hand side of the home page of the town website, click on “Town Financial Information” then click on “Proposed Budgets 2013-14. The Town website is at www.eastwindsorct.com The polling places will be open during the hours of 6:00AM and 8:00PM. District 1 is located at the Town Hall Annex, 25 School St., East Windsor. District 2 is located at the Town Hall, 11 Rye St., Broad Brook. Taxpayers who are not voters will vote at District 2 only. Absentee ballots for those who qualify will be available from 6/3/13 to 6/10/13 in the Town Clerk’s Office. No absentee ballots will be issued on the day of the Referendum. All ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office by the close of the polls on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
