Robbery Suspects Sought by East Windsor Police
A pair of women tried to steal a considerable amount of merchandise from an East Windsor retail store.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police in East Windsor are seeking help identifying a pair of women who stole over $700 worth of merchandise from the Burlington Coat Factory store on Route 5 Saturday, then abandoned it in the parking lot after confronting a store employee.
Around 6 p.m., police were contacted regarding a strong-armed robbery that had just occurred at the store. Two women fled the store with merchandise and confronted one of the store personnel, then fled in a gray Jeep Compass bearing New York registration plates HEF5949, police said.
The vehicle is owned by a rental company, police said.
