Sexual Assault Charges Filed In Enfield Against Windsor Locks Resident
The man faces six counts each of first-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

ENFIELD, CT — A Windsor Locks resident in custody since last September for violating probation on a 2013 conviction is facing 18 additional charges related to illegal sexual activity with a juvenile.
Daniel Lemay, 65, was charged on an Enfield police warrant at Hartford Superior Court with six counts each of first-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child. Bond on the new charges was set at $750,000, and as reduced to $350,000 during his arraignment.
Lemay has been held on $250,000 bond since Sept. 9, 2021, when he was arrested on a violation of probation charge. He had been convicted in 2013 of illegal sexual contact with an underage victim, and sentenced to 10 years in prison, suspended after one year, and 10 yeas probation, according to judicial records.

The most recent charges involve another juvenile victim in multiple incidents which took place in 2021. No other information could be released, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.
Lemay is slated to return to court May 25.
