The Silk City Chorus will hold an evening event on November 21 focused on the opportunity to visit the chorus and experience the magic of harmony. Enjoy the fellowship and learn how music makes a difference in people’s lives. We invite all attendees to enjoy our singing style and experience the excitement of participating in a men’s chorus. Prior musical training is not required. The event will be held at 7:00 PM at the Second Congregational Church, 385 North Main St., Manchester, CT, 06042.
The Silk City Chorus is a 62 member chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an international organization dedicated to singing four part harmony in the barbershop style. The chorus has been located in Manchester, CT since 1963. Under the capable direction of Todd Lamson, it once again placed as the top barbershop style chorus in Connecticut and is currently ranked fourth in the Northeast District which comprises New England and Eastern Canada.
