East Windsor Bridge Paving Work Moved To This Week

Drivers should expect single-lane traffic near Stiles Bridge during the rescheduled work.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — A paving project that was expected to affect traffic near Stiles Bridge over the weekend has been rescheduled, according to East Windsor police.

Police said the paving work, originally planned for Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, was canceled and moved to Tuesday, May 19, and Wednesday, May 20.

The work is planned for Stiles Bridge, in the area of Mill Street and Scantic Road.

Police previously said the roadway would remain open during the paving, but traffic would be restricted to a single lane. Officers are expected to be on-site to help direct traffic and keep the work area safe.

Drivers should expect delays in the area and use another route if possible.
