The Windsor Locks Town Meeting this evening voted unanimously to acquire the historic station from the National Railroad Passengers Association (aka Amtrak) for $1. A great move on the part of the community to protect and restore this National Register of Historic Places treasure. The Town has established a dedicated fund for donations toward the project.
