WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Two men were stabbed outside a Spring Street bar early Friday morning, and one of two suspects was taken into custody, according to police.

Around 12:48 a.m., two men were reported stabbed outside the Blackboard Cafe. One victim had sustained nine stab wounds, including two of a serious nature, and the other had four wounds, one deemed serious, Lt. Paul Cherniack said.

A suspect fled in a truck bearing Texas plates, which was spotted by a police sergeant working a private duty job. He caught up to the truck when it stopped for gas at a local Citgo station, and the driver was taken into custody without incident, Cherniack said.
