Vehicles Catch Fire At East Windsor Automotive Business
Firefighters quickly put out the flames on several vehicles at a Route 5 automotive business late Tuesday afternoon.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Town firefighters were kept busy late Tuesday afternoon, responding to a pair of vehicle fire calls almost simultaneously.
At 4:16 p.m., the Warehouse Point Fire Department was dispatched to a report of two vehicles on fire at Toro Auto on South Main Street. Upon arrival, firefighters reported two vehicles were involved, with several vehicles as exposures, Warehouse Point Fire Chief James Barton said.
With mutual aid from the Broad Brook Fire Department, the vehicles were quickly extinguished and overhauled, Barton said.

Around the same time, the two departments were also dispatched to another possible vehicle fire at the Carousel Apartments on Pleasant Street. Dispatchers contacted the Enfield Fire Department to handle that incident, which turned out to be an overheated vehicle, Barton said.
No injuries were reported at either incident, the chief added.
