Vigilance Leads To Burglary Bust In East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police say a vigilant individual's actions helped lead to the arrest of a burglar who stole six spools of copper wire from a home under construction on South Water Street. The caller reported a suspicious person at the property.

The crime involved the sale of copper wire to a scrap yard for $561. The thief was arrested on burglary/larceny charges, according to police.
