WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission finally concluded a public hearing which began in March concerning a proposed 22-unit housing development adjacent to Windsor Locks High School and St. Robert Bellarmine Church, but postponed a decision on a special permit application and site plan review for two weeks.

The proposed development, entitled Heritage Farm, involves the construction of 22 dwelling units within eight separate structures. Six buildings will contain two units each, and two buildings will contain five units each, according to a site plan submitted by applicants Gary and Dan Merrigan and Daryl LeFebvre of M&L Development Corporation.

Several letters, both for and against the plan, were read into the record. After voting to close the hearing, commission members unanimously approved a motion to continue deliberations and vote to a special meeting, slated for July 27 at 7 p.m.
