Wanted Fugitive Eludes Windsor Locks Police
A man wanted on escape charges engaged police in a pursuit into Enfield Tuesday, and has yet to be located.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A known fugitive eluded police as they attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on his car Tuesday, and neither he nor his car have been located.
Bruce Michaud, who is wanted by state police on charges of first-degree escape, was spotted driving a gray 2019 Subaru Impreza, bearing Connecticut registration BH-27022. Windsor Locks police had information that Michaud was staying at a hotel in the Route 75 area, but he engaged officers in a pursuit which ended unsuccessfully in Enfield, Sgt. Jeffrey Lampson said.
Michaud has a criminal history which includes arrests for narcotics, sale of narcotics, criminal possession of a firearm, violation of probation, burglary and assault, Lampson said.
