Warehouse Point Fire District Acquires Former Bank Branch Next Door
The newly-acquired building will include the office of the fire chief, fire marshal, fire inspectors and the administrative assistant.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Officials of the Warehouse Point Fire District will soon be operating out of new offices, adjacent to the Anthony DiMastrantonio Fire Station on Bridge Street.
The district recently purchased the neighboring former Bank of America building, and will transition into the new location in the next few months. The building will include the office of the fire chief, fire marshal, fire inspectors and the administrative assistant. It will also include a conference area and an Emergency Operation Center (EOC) for any incident requiring an activation, Chief Jim Barton said.
"The fire district was presented an opportunity we could not pass up," Barton told Patch.

Acquisition of the property was approved at a special district meeting in mid-December, when unanimous approval was given for a $225,000 appropriation from the Capital Improvement Fund for the purchase of the 81 Bridge Street building and property.
"We would like to thank the citizens of the Warehouse Point Fire District for their support with this acquisition," Barton said. "We would also like to thank John McCormick of CBRE and the Bank of America for their generosity and assistance to make this a success for the fire district."
