Wayback Burgers Re-Opens in East Windsor
The Route 5 eatery is re-opening Friday, Dec. 1 following a change of ownership.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — After a temporary closure while undergoing a change of ownership, the Wayback Burgers restaurant at 137 Prospect Hill Road is re-opening Friday, Dec. 1.
The Route 5 location had closed Nov. 5, with a sign in the doorway indicating there are other Wayback locations in Granby and West Hartford.
"We were in the process of taking over the location as a Corporate Store and we wanted to make sure we did not set any expectations as we were not aware of any concrete timeline. In that case, we felt that in terms of our messaging to customers, less is more," said Alison Cole, store support coordinator at the franchise's headquarters in Cheshire. "We love the East Windsor community and we love this restaurant's location and we are happy to be back and open and able to serve East Windsor and beyond. We are proud to be a Connecticut-run business and part of many communities around Connecticut."
