When Will the Rain End in Windsor Locks, East Windsor?

With the heaviest rain having fallen early this morning, we’re still not out of the woods as showers, thunderstorms, and fog are possible through late Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Fog may also impact Tuesday’s morning commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for Hartford and Tolland counties for the chance of minor flooding from the heavy rains this morning. A dense fog advisory is likely to be issued later on Monday, and on Tuesday and a “few strong thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon and early evening,” the NWS writes.

The potentially severe storms may bring gusty winds and heavy rainfall, and possibly flooding, the National Weather Service writes.

As for the southern half of the state, including Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties, there are no advisories currently in place, but we’re expected to receive on and off rain through late Tuesday before there is a brief clearing on Wednesday.

For Monday, showers and thunderstorms could fall throughout the day accumulating up to another half inch, and there is a greater chance of more showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon.

The rain completely exits Connecticut late Tuesday.
