WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — The Peoples/United Bank at 20 Main St. was robbed Monday afternoon, according to police. A man entered the bank at 1:37 pm. and displayed a note demanding cash while displaying a small black bag.

Police released the following description of the suspect: "white, male, scarf around face, grey sweatpants, blue jacket, blue baseball cap, wearing socks outside over pant legs. Walked with a limp. Possibly fled in a small gray car waiting outside."

The suspect fled in a silver Pontiac Grand Prix GT Coupe with a sun roof.
