Windsor Locks Community Partners

Windsor Locks Community Partners is a collaborative group empowering parents and the community in partnering with the Windsor Locks Public Schools. Our children are the future of Windsor Locks and their success is reliant on the support of the entire community which includes teachers, parents, students, residents, and business owners.

Currently, we have a diverse group of community members attending the meetings from teachers, parents, pastors, retired community members, school board members, administration, and students. We are working to develop subcommittees to plan action within our community, some of which include Developing Surveys for the Community; Celebrations; Increasing Participation/Membership of the Community Partners; Student-Centered Learning Initiative; and Community Education/Marketing. Our hope is also for local business owners and more community members to get involved and share their wishes for their community.

We are always accepting new members into this dynamic group and there are many ways for families and the community to engage and be active participants in working together – this could include attending monthly meetings, being part of a subcommittee, mentoring, and many other opportunities. We need YOUR voice!

Please join us on Monday, March 28th from 6-7:30 at the WL High School Media Library Center. We will have on-site childcare available with some fun activities for the kids, and will also have light refreshments.
