Windsor Locks, East Windsor Remain on Shortened Potential Casino List
South Windsor, Hartford and East Hartford have been eliminated from consideration for a third Connecticut casino.

WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — A proposal to build a third casino in Connecticut is still going forward, but three of the five potential suitor towns have been eliminated from the running.
A release issued Friday by MMCT, a joint venture of the Mohegan and Mashantucket Pequot tribes, indicated South Windsor, Hartford and East Hartford were no longer under consideration for the new casino.
Windsor Locks and East Windsor are the lone two towns remaining on the radar for the tribal venture, as they "align best with our development models," according to Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Council chairman Rodney Butler.
