High school teams begin regular season contests Friday.
WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — Preseason practices and scrimmages are about to wrap up at Windsor Locks and East Windsor high schools, as the 2016 fall regular season is about to commence.
Here is the schedule of varsity games involving Raider and Panther teams this week:

- girls soccer - East Windsor at Somers, 3:45 p.m.
- football - Stafford-Somers-East Windsor at Coventry-Windham Tech-Bolton, 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 10
- football - Granby at Windsor Locks-Suffield-East Granby, 1 p.m.
