Windsor Locks Football Field Dedicated to Longtime Coach
Pat Scelza started the football program at Windsor Locks High School in 1970.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Former players, assistant coaches and town residents gathered at Windsor Locks High School Saturday for the dedication of the school's football field to a coaching legend.
From this day forward, the facility will be known as Pat Scelza Field, named after the man who started the Raider football program back in 1970.
Within two years, the Raiders were a varsity football team, and were led by Scelza until his retirement in 2010.
