Windsor Locks Grad Named CFO of Financial Firm

He will work closely with clients on funding, reporting, forecasting and fee billing.

North American Risk Services, Inc. (NARS) has hired former Windsor Locks resident Andrew Charrette as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Charrette, a 2005 graduate of Windsor Locks High School, will lead day-to-day finance operations by establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures and controls. As a third-party administrator, NARS manages and reconciles hundreds of bank accounts on behalf of carrier partners. He will work closely with clients on funding, reporting, forecasting and fee billing. By producing and maintaining the annual budget, he will allow NARS to more efficiently handle client needs.

After securing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Central Connecticut State University, Charrette began his career in the environmental industry as a Field Cost Accountant. He then moved into the insurance industry, quickly moving up the ranks from a Junior Auditor to the Assistant Vice President of Finance at AmTrust North America.

Born and raised in Windsor Locks, Charrette is an avid sports fan who can regularly be seen cheering on his favorite Boston teams, the Red Sox and Celtics.
