Windsor Locks High School Golf Team Falls To Ellington

The Ellington High School golf team picked up two wins on Thursday with victories over Suffield and Windsor Locks.

The Knights defeated Suffield 159-168 and Windsor Locks 159-206.

Ellington was led by Nick Larew and Mike Thibodeau who each shot a 38. Mike Gresh shot a 41, and Jon McPartland and Jeff Bird each shot a 42.

Andy Mai led Suffield with a 35. Dan Banks and Parker Latanzio each shot a 42, Connor Beaulieu shot a 49, and Will Morris shot a 50.

For Windsor Locks, Ryan Paul led with a 48. Mike Drangenis shot a 50, Chris Toce shot a 52, Chris Bole shot a 56, and Brandon Gilbert shot a 66.

The match was played at Ellington Ridge Country Club.

Ellington improves to 7 - 4, Suffield is now 8-2, and Windsor Locks falls to 3-8.

Ellington travels to Somers on Tuesday, Suffield hosts Coventry on Monday, and Windsor Locks hosts Canton on Monday.
