Windsor Locks High School - Press Release

Windsor Locks High School Art Department is pleased to announce that Junior, Joanna Abare, was recognized at the 2017 Connecticut Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards at the Hartford Art School on January. Her artwork titled "A New Life" was chosen from over 3,000 entries to receive a Gold Key Award. Each piece is awarded at a different level: Honorable Mention, Silver Key, Gold Key and various scholarships. Pieces awarded a Gold Key at regional will have their artwork judged at a national level by a panel of professional artists in New York City, in March.
