Windsor Locks K-9 Chases Down Escaped Person

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - K-9 Rocko tracked down an emotionally disturbed person who had fled from an ambulance in Fox Hollow. The person has "violent tendencies in addition to being suicidal" and was being transported Sept. 26 when they escaped the vehicle.

Suffield Police called in Windsor Locks Police to help locate the emotionally disturbed person.K-9 Rocko established a scent and went into the densely wooded Fox Hollow area accompanied by a police officer.

Shortly thereafter, the K-9 found a baseball hat floating in a body of water, then a series of footprints nearby. The person was found in an overgrowth area and secured without incident.
