WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — The Windsor Locks Lions Club, along with local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, will hold their annual community food drive this weekend, according to a flyer distributed to residents.

The effort supports the Windsor Locks Social Services Food Pantry and helps provide holiday baskets for families in need. Residents who wish to donate are asked to place a bag of non-perishable food on their front step by 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 22nd.

Items for Thanksgiving, such as frozen turkey and chicken, are most in need, as are general food items like canned goods, mac and cheese, soup, and pasta.
