WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A CT Lottery scratch game which was winding down its 10-month tenure proved to be a financial windfall recently for a Windsor Locks man.

Michael Gaudreau purchased a ticket in the Millionaire game at the Stop & Shop supermarket in Windsor. He didn't win the top prize of $1 million, but came pretty close, cashing in for $825,000. He claimed his winnings Friday, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
