Windsor Locks Motorcyclist Killed In Bolton Crash

BOLTON, CT — A two-vehicle crash on Route 85 in Bolton Tuesday afternoon resulted in the death of a motorcyclist from Windsor Locks.

State police said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by Joel Koller, 51, of Windsor Locks, struck the back of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck operated by Richard Matuszko, 48, of Coventry, which was stopped in the southbound lane of Route 85 around 3:54 p.m.

Koller was transported to Manchester Memorial Hospital, where he died of injuries sustained in the collision. Matuszko was not injured, state police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
