Windsor Locks Obituary: Faith Mahaney, 74

Faith L. Mahaney, 74 of Windsor Locks passed away peacefully Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Hartford Hospital.

She was born January 11, 1944 in Hartford, then in her early twenties she moved to Bloomfield, and later moved to Windsor Locks. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, and camping in Newport, RI and Maine. Faith enjoyed going to concerts, especially to see Wynonna and Reba.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years John F. Mahaney, daughter, Dawn Mahaney, both of Windsor Locks, brothers; Gary Laurito (Janice) of Windsor Locks, Joseph "Skip" Laurito (Donna) of Lake Wales, Florida, brother in law, Joe Mahaney and sister in law Karen Mahaney, a "bonus" daughter Wendy Kulas, best friend Ann and a host of nieces, great nieces; Gina ( Andy) Kulas, Tori-Ann Sells, Ashley Spada, Amanda Kulas, Jennifer (Steven) Day; nephews and great nephews; Corey ( Jennifer) Laurito, Nicholas Laurito, Timothy Laurito, Eric Mahaney, Todd Laurito, Scott Laurito, Chris Laurito and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Faith's name to Lea's Foundation For Leukemia Research, 522 H Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002 or online at leasfoundation.org. This organization was very important to her and held a special place in her heart, she and her family volunteered there for many years.

The family wishes to thank Meadowbrook and Hartford Hospital Hospice Staff for the great care Faith received.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 18 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Carmon Funeral Home 807 Bloomfield Ave, Windsor.
