
Jean M. (Sisson) Shultz, 88, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of the late Edward A. Shultz, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Rockville General Hospital.
Born in Fall River, MA on June 28, 1929, daughter of the late Franklin and Hazel (Westgate) Sisson, she was raised in Fall River, MA and had lived in Hartford before moving to Windsor Locks 55 years ago.
Jean waitressed for many years at Villa Rose and the Passport Restaurant in Windsor Locks and later at John Brown’s Restaurant in Bloomfield. She was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Windsor for many years and also was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Club at the church.

She leaves a son, Edward A. Shultz, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Mesa, AZ; two daughters, Virginia Charette and her husband Joseph of Winsted and Carol Palifka and her husband Lester of Vernon; four grandchildren, Michael Charette of Winsted, Christopher Shultz and his wife Raye of Oil City, PA, Jennifer Brady and her husband Shawn of Columbia, and Hillary Morisset and her husband Jonathan of Enfield; and a great-grandson, Evan Morisset. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Sisson; and a sister, Beryl Dirksen.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 11 a.m., at Trinity Church, 180 Park Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private in Grove Cemetery, Windsor Locks.
