
Julia Ann Meglin, 95, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Bickford Healthcare in Windsor Locks.
Born in South Windsor to the late Thomas and Mary (Valonis) Meglin, she has been a Windsor resident all of her life and was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Church in Windsor. Julia worked at Fuller Brush for many years before her retirement and in her spare time she enjoyed cooking, gardening and Boston Red Sox games.

She is survived by her sister, Nellie Meglin of Windsor; her nieces, Linda Meglin of Ohio and Barbara Cooper Finck and her husband Denny of Washington; her nephew Thomas Meglin and his wife Ann of Glastonbury; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Thomas Meglin Jr. and his wife Tara, Amanda Fester and her husband Ian, and Charles Meglin and his wife Anne; and nine great-great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday, August 19 at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave Windsor followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windsor. Her family will receive friends prior to the service from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave Windsor.
