Windsor Locks Public Schools New Superintendent Search

The Windsor Locks Board of Education has begun the process to select a new Superintendent for the schools

The Windsor Locks Public Schools Board of Education has begun the process of finding a new Superintendent of Schools and has selected Cooperative Educational Services (C.E.S.) to conduct the

search. Board of Education Chairwoman Patricia King is leading the Superintendent Search Committee, which is comprised of the five board members. The new superintendent will replace Susan Bell, who resigned at the end of June after leading the district since 2014 and serving in other capacities since 2001. The successful candidate is expected to be chosen in October following a series of interviews with candidates and begin work on or before Jan. 1, 2019.

C.E.S. has already reached out to nearly 2,000 current superintendents in the Northeast and is posting the job opening on a number of education-related websites.
