East Windsor Ready To Cool Off For Summer
Town seeks lifeguards as it prepares to open up park beach and splash pad later this month.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — This weekend will be the last weekend where town-operated cool-off sites, namely the local beach and splash park, will not be open.
The East Windsor Parks and Recreation Department, however, said this week the East Windsor Park's beach and splash pad will open on Saturday, June 11.
Last weekend, the town had to post notices the facilities would remain closed despite record-breaking, late-May heat over the Memorial Day weekend.

Town recreation officials hope to have sufficient staffing for municipal swimming and cool-off areas at the park, which is located at 27 Reservoir Ave. in the Broad Brook section of town.
Meanwhile, local residents can purchase beach and splash park passes in the East Windsor Parks and Recreation office.
