- "I started going to the Blackboard in 2011; therefore I have had many years of great memories here. From celebrating birthdays to watching Super Bowls. Not only have I created some great friendships from this bar, but I also met my husband here of eight years. We even had the owner, Greg Buceivicius, be a part of our wedding ceremony by handing us our wedding rings because he played a major part in our relationship. If it wasn’t for Greg, we would not have met. Every single staff member treats us like family - in fact, they were all invited to our wedding. This place has it all - great food, friendly staff and a guaranteed fun time!" - Carli Trippodo James
- "Greg works hard every day for his business. This man truly makes everyone feel like family when they’re there. From the friendly staff to the amazing food and drinks. Even through this pandemic, no matter how the customer feels about the guidelines of CDC, he respected their views but still followed the mandates and enforced them every day to keep a happy and healthy staff and customer base. Greg worked hard to get where he is today and I feel he deserves the recognition. Thank you." - Shane Arnold
- "Always a welcoming place for friends and family, all of the staff are wonderful, welcoming and amazing. Always makes me happy when I see them and the food is amazing and always creating new things. It truly is a neighborhood staple here in Windsor Locks and surrounding towns." - Amanda Burke
- "Great atmosphere, outstanding food, great staff, and I love that its family operated." - Lynn Bouchard
- "The Blackboard Cafe is not just your neighborhood bar and restaurant. It is a meeting place for all to gather, chat and socialize with one another. Greg is one of the nicest, most genuine restaurant owners ever. He gets to know each and every one of his customers. He takes pride in delivering excellent food. He also cares for his employees extremely well and treats them as if they were his own family. The Blackboard Cafe always gives back. Each year they host a toy for tots gift box for all the needy children that may not have a chance to celebrate Christmas like other families. The Blackboard also hosts a food drive and donates all of it to the town of Windsor Locks for families in need. The Blackboard Cafe and staff are definitely the best all around." - Ewelina Tartsinis
